Building Products at Proxil

Proxil is built around a simple idea: useful technology does not always need to be packed into one giant product.

Instead, we are building an ecosystem of focused products. Each product has its own purpose, identity, technology, and roadmap while remaining connected through the larger Proxil ecosystem.

We believe this makes it easier to give every product the attention it deserves. A product designed around one clear problem can make better decisions about its experience, features, and technology than a platform trying to solve everything at once.

When software tries to serve too many unrelated use cases, the experience can become complicated very quickly. Features start competing for attention, navigation becomes harder, and the original problem can get buried under the size of the platform.

Our approach is different. We want every Proxil product to have a clear reason to exist. It should be understandable on its own, useful on its own, and capable of developing its own identity.

This also gives each product room to evolve. Different products can use different technologies, interaction models, and development strategies without forcing everything into one codebase.

ZeroFumble is one example of this philosophy. It focuses on interview preparation and is being developed as an independent product with its own experience, codebase, and roadmap.

The goal is not to turn ZeroFumble into a generic collection of career tools. Instead, the product is centered around helping people practice for interviews in a more realistic and useful way.

We also want to keep the relationship between the parent company and its products clear. Proxil is the ecosystem and company behind the products; the products themselves remain independent experiences.

For us, building software is not about creating the largest possible platform. It is about creating products that solve real problems well.
